Willma Willis Gore has moved home and
hearth twenty times in her adult life—six times since she turned seventy.
Her articles, essays, profiles and travel pieces have been published in
more than seventy-five national and regional journals. Her photographs
have illustrated most of her magazine articles, including several covers,
and have been used in three of the nineteen children’s books that bear her
byline.
She
has taught Write-To-Sell classes, done professional editing, and organized
and led writer critique groups for more than twenty-five years. She is a
conference speaker, a member of California Writers Club and San Luis
Obispo NightWriters, and leads three critique workshops for that
organization.
