About the Author

Horst D. Weinberg, M.D., received his M.D. degree from the University of Chicago School of Medicine. For years he hosted Central California’s popular weekly call-in TV program “The Doctor is In.”

 He has been a frequent contributor to such journals as The American Journal of Diseases of Children, Contemporary Pediatrics, and the Western Journal of Medicine.

Dr. Weinberg’s awards include the Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Heart Association and the Special Resident Teaching Award from Central California’s Valley Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Weinberg has been a pediatrician for over forty years. He lives with his wife Carol in Holmdel, New Jersey. They have three grown children.
